Julia Guerrein (pronounced gare-in) graduated from Penn State Behrend in 2019, where she was awarded the Thomas H. Turnbull Award for Outstanding Contribution of Leadership and Service and was class speaker at her commencement. In 2022, she received her J.D. from Vermont Law School, magna cum laude, and a Master of Philosophy from Homerton College, University of Cambridge, in Cambridge, England, with merit. After graduating and returning to the United States, Ms. Guerrein clerked for the Vermont Superior Court in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.

Ms. Guerrein joined Heilmann, Ekman, Cooley & Gagnon, Inc., in 2023. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and professional liability defense. Ms. Guerrein is admitted to practice before all state courts in Vermont. Ms. Guerrein’s clients include attorneys, judges, architects, engineers, doctors, accountants, surveyors, contractors, and more. Ms. Guerrein is also co-chair of the Vermont Bar Association Attorney Well-Being Division.

In her spare time, Ms. Guerrein enjoys cooking and baking, traveling, and spending time with her cat, partner, family, and friends.
