Chip Wadhams’ practice focuses on civil ligation and insurance defense. One of Vermont’s most experienced trial attorneys, Mr. Wadhams has successfully defended hundreds of cases to settlement or verdict. Mr. Wadhams also specializes in providing insurance coverage analysis and opinions. 

Mr. Wadhams is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, has been listed in Super Lawyers since 2010, and is a member of Litigation Counsel of America and Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel. Mr. Wadhams is a Martindale Hubbell’s AV Preeminent rated attorney. 

Mr. Wadhams graduated from Yale University and Boston University Law School. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Vermont as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. 

Before joining Heilmann, Ekman, Cooley & Gagnon, Inc., Mr. Wadhams was a partner at the law firm of Pierson Wadhams Quinn Yate & Coffrin, LLP.
